There is also a 1:10 scale enzo available in January that is pretty slick looking.

It would be more impressive if it was a remote controlled toy that would break up like lego's would when you hit into things.

that's what I don't get with legosss they are meant to be put together into whatever your imagination wants, yet everylittle thing has it's own special parts, as a matter of fact this open wheeler is probably 98 percent of unique parts you'd never see in another package

edit

make that 100%

i know its unique parts...i don't care about that. I saw the thing in the store, and it just looks cool as a little model.

exactly. legos aren't legos any longer. seems like the new lego kits take zero imagination. i never liked the old kits either, just a big bag of assorted legos would do.

oh ffs...i didn't mean for this to break down into a philosphical debate on the merits of lego kits vs legos in general. :p i want the kit for this car. it is slick, albeit way overpriced.

a bit overpriced, but still much cheaper than a similarly scaled die cast.

and you're talking to a guy who has over 800 bucks wrapped up in a radio controlled truck that i drive maybe once a month...i tend to be a sucker for shiny toys.

:icon14:

i had a huge tub of blocks, and the only kit i had was an electric train set which couldn't even modify much

might as well put together model aeroplanes with glue etc if you're gonna follow instructions instead of making whatever

most bizarre lego thing i ever made -> a set of skates for my cat (she didn't like them :olo:)

Was it lego that produced a monorail kit? The carriages sat on a thin vertical strip of the plastic. I remember it being modular so you could build whatever track you liked, and it had up and down sections, the whole works.

Interesting. Did the train move by itself?

Yes, it was battery powered.

The strip down the centre of the track has teeth on it, which engaged with a little gearwheel on the mororail engine.
