lack of coffee headache
lack of coffee headache
fucking hell ..
I just had the worlds worst headache when I woke up - almost felt nauseous becuase of it ..
thought it was down to not getting any freshair yesterday, but then I remembered I'd not had a single cup of coffee all day ..
just having a large cup of strong black coffee (still supping now) and my headache has gone almost immediately..
how fucking alarming is that ...
shit

you sure it's not specifically the caffeine? caffeine withdrawel is a common cause of headaches. also, diet coke has less caffeine than coffee. not that you already don't know this stuff.neh wrote:nope - had diet coke in the evening yesterday - go figure+JuggerNaut+ wrote:you mean, lack of caffeine headache. have fun with that.

yeah its clearly the withdrawl from caffeine - you're both right
but fuck - its alarming as hell
it reminds me of a channel 4 magazine show that had a discussion on substance depenance and uk law - they asserted in that program that physioloigcally, gram for gram caffeine is more dangerous than heroin .. lol - shit
the good thing about caffeine dependence is that the headaches will go away in a couple of days one you stop with the coffee.
Unfortunately, I have to change my life habits in order to survive without caffeine. I can't pull all nighters or survive off of three hours of sleep like I did before. I won't make it through the day now without good sleep, whereas before the caffeine allowed me otherwise.

You're on provigil though? Isn't that enough?mjrpes wrote:the good thing about caffeine dependence is that the headaches will go away in a couple of days one you stop with the coffee.

I stopped drinking coffee awhile ago. Tea I drink on and off. Provigil is hopefully temporary.Massive Quasars wrote:You're on provigil though? Isn't that enough?mjrpes wrote:the good thing about caffeine dependence is that the headaches will go away in a couple of days one you stop with the coffee.

MAD TV Coffee Guy: Lowered Expectations (#309)
Coffee Guy: Stan McNer- Pat Kilbane
Announcer: Stan. Number 444.
Stan: Heey! Stan here. I'm looking for somebody who's into coffee, somebody with a sharp mind, and a body of a fresh roasted Turkish blend, if you know what I mean. My dream date starts with a 2 pint with a triple espresso, followed by a trip to the museum of natural history... coffee shop, where we'll have a mocha Java, of Jurassic proportions. After that, on a moonlit beach, holding hands, we'll run until we have to pee, then we'll drink more coffee! Finally, it's back to my place where I show you my manly equipment... a Coffee Master 6000 Industrial Plunger Pot, that will keep us percolating all night. Did I mention I'm into coffee? Can get enough of the bean! Hehehe!
Announcer: For Stan, press pound 444.
I had a lack of caffeine headache last night. Didn't even occur to me that I had gone all day without any caffeine. I drink 1 red bull and 1 diet coke a day during the week...hadn't had either as of 7 last night and holy crap it felt like my head was going to explode.
not a good sign. time to taper back off the caffeine.
