Cool! Do you think of getting a hydrofoam or build one soon?

sounds like a bee in a jar :D

Is that from a kit or did you build it from scratch?

Sorta both...I bought it off a pro racer as a rolling chassis. It was assembled and cleaned, then I put an O.S. VZB V-Spec .21 motor in. Steering servo is a JR Racing servo...rated at something like 180oz/in of torque. i don't remember the model off my head, and the throttle is a REAL quick servo. Pretty much 1:1 movement. I use a Futaba 3PJ fm controller. I have always wanted one of those :D even though it's a bit old.

The buggy is a 1:8 scale Kyosho MP777SP1 Kanai Edition. The guy sold it with a shitload of spare parts including a few diffs and many suspension and chassis parts. Pretty much everything as far as spare parts go.

The buggy i had before was a Thunder Tiger and i put that one together from nothing.

Quite cool. I wonder if "scale-wise" it beats the Bugatti Veyron :)

Pretty quick.

Sidenote: There was a great Topgear episode where they attached electronics to real cars to make them controllable via RC. It was also really funny that the presenters got beaten by a little girl in the RC race.

I used to race semi-pro (aka sponsored but I had a real job). Not gas though, electric. Coolest thing I ever saw was at the insane speed runs in Domingus Hills one year when some car flew off the track at about 140 mph when it went into the corner. It hit a joint where these two poles came together at the top of the track and turned into dust. We found batteries all over the parking lot! nearly took some guy's head off too, luckily he ducked in the nick of time.

It certainly wasn't going 40 in the video, on loose dirt like that the tires just spin and the car tries to keep up. It was find racing around the bases though
