Remember, the Justice Dept's Inspector General found long ago that she was, in all likelihood, fired in retaliation for blowing the whistle on serious national security lapses within the FBI. The IG as well as Congressmen have studied her case and even the FBI has verified that there is truth to what she has said.
Then, in court, she and her attorney were kicked out of their own trial while Ashcroft's attorneys talked to the judge in secret, and convinced him that giving her a trial was bad for national security - and mostly because it would affect relationships with certain foreign governments.
So essentially, the fact that the FBI was hiring moles is swept under the rug to keep foreign governments happy, in the name of national security, and it is apparently okay to lock people out of their own trials.
I don't know where she can go from here, honestly. I thought surely the Supreme Court would hear a case like this. This is truly sad.
