Oh and by comparrison the Ipod nano only had a maximum of 4 gigs storage and is 35 quid more expensive.

I like how the screen appears to be just another part of the case.

Can you use MP3s or do have to fag around with AAC?

I've had no problem with importing mp3s into the software so I assume it's fine. After all it is refered to as an MP3 player.

I just remember all the old Sony 'mp3' players required you to convert to their AAC format while transferring to the player.
You don't have to 'fag around' with AAC on an ipod either
