Anyone else thing the series has really gone downhill hard? The last episodes I saw (Stan of Arabia 1 + 2) were really, really naff.

Aside from having to use several minutes of singing to flesh out episode 2 (and musical comedy fucking SUCKS. It was pretty poor when it crops up in Family Guy too), the whole thing just plain wasn't very funny.

I watched the pilot and it just seemed to try too hard.. i haven't even bothered to even keep track of it

its pretty hit or miss.
the early episodes this season were good, but yeah, the stan of arabia ones were crap.
last episode was ok. (the nra episode)
had some good moments, but more bad songs.
lately it seems the only show that has funny songs is southpark.

I do agree that American Dad has seem to be not what it used to be, but it's still damn good.

i find american dad pretty cool, although ive only seen like 5 episodes

Musical comedy has had some golden moments though: I constantly have the "I want a blow job, give me a blow job, I want a blow job... out of you!" line from Two Pints Of Lager in my head whenever I hear a Robbie Williams track.
