Gamers reporting Xbox 360 crashes

Post by +JuggerNaut+ »

Jsgongwon, one of our forum members, reported that his newly bought Xbox 360 keeps crashing while playing Project Gotham Racing 3 in single player mode.
He's playing with the default settings, and apparently his Xbox crashes even before the end of the first lap. Crashes on Xbox Live and on startup occur too. He included screenshots of the crashed Xbox 360

This is why I prefer to wait a while until the initial kinks are ironed out. The people that buy the first model are usually the ones getting shafted.

if you mean the video... its not that spectacular... just a bunch of puffers playing pgr and then the xbox makes a horrible clicking noise and freezes the screen.

They were smoking weed and the xbox inhaled to much and passed out.

Pretty good
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Wow... I mean just... Wow... I can't believe that they would release such an expensive buggy thing... This means christmas this year is FUCKED lol.

The demo units were buggy too. Ever notice king kong crash? Or the trex go blue? Or CoD2 turning everybody invisible? Or kameo using so much bloom on the scene it just dies in frame rate and needs to be reset?

Ahh, the good old days hey M$?

Tis a sad shame. That monster will rock, if un-buggy.

A downloadable fix huh? Well sorry Timmy, that money you saved for the last 8 years because you only have a paper round that runs 3 houses in your no-broadband area has been wasted...

This sucks, really do. Cant believe it really...

well later revisions should be fixed out of the box, obviously ;)

knowing MS you could only get the fix if you subscribe to Live :\

Yeah, i know later versions could be fixed out the box.

Thing is, this thing is in limited quantity as it is. Think of how much money MS will lose on this now, plus think of how many people will be without 360's this xmas.

Whats the latest on that? Do we know what games profile comes on the hard drive, or do we have to download ALL of them...?

Kinda want to play HD Halo 2 to see how it looks. So far HD has me unimpressed compared to the price difference...

Already switched to 1080. This was on a 1grand telly so, given the prices of HD TV's. it was a cheap one mind...

Doesn't matter if its a console or not, i'm unimpressed with the whole thing. Everybody is ranting and raving, and TBH i'd rather play it on my £200 widescreen TV than a £2000 widescreen HD tv. Just looks sharper.
