Print adverts - what is present in your reading material?

Post by Ezekiel »

Magazines and advertising go hand in hand, almost everybody knows this – the question I’m asking is just as simple: What is advertised in the magazines you read?

This is a topic I have to address as part of a minor project at University, and the forums offer a rather large (if not sarcastic and unpredictable) captive pool of variety. I’d be interested to know what kind of spam your regular reading material contains, be it printed within the pages or slid inside on a throw away sheet.

If you are really bored, your input would be appreciated!

I read design mags like Grafik and Eye. Occasionally Dazed and Confused and ID too. ID is pretty much filled with fashion ads for big name designer brands. The others are much more subtle and varied.
