Question about super high frequency sounds...

It's not a hum for sure. He may be insane, but I assume he knows the difference between a hum and a screechy high-pitched thing

Maybe he does have tinnitus? Never thought of that... I've never had it so I don't know how high pitched the ringing is... I'll have to ask him.
