I actually have a bit of a problem with understanding the opposite of 'pro-'
In one sense, you have pros and cons. But in many other words: profession, protect... there's no opposite word that makes sense.

That's because those words don't use "pro-" as a prefix.
Also, I think "ante-" and "post-" can also work as opposites.
