of course there will be e-mail in 20 years. what could surpass it? snail mail was around for centuries.

nope. and now that i did, i retract my statement. email "time capsuling" was on slashdot a while ago, but it wasn't forbes doing the hosting.

still, i agree with werdheld, there won't be email in 20 years.

was around? most of the reason why it still is around is because people still need to send tangible things.

Indeed.

Perhaps brain IM then? Email may not exist but some means of sending information will, they'll simply use that if they must.

edit: or maybe not, considering they'd have to find each person on the list using their new method of communication

i just found the old floppy disk i had my college emails on from back in the early to mid 90's.

funny to re-read some of that stuff...i realize how naive i was in my late teens and early 20's.

the country would probably run smoother if voting had a ceiling as well as a floor. (fucking old people with nothing to do on a thursday)
