why i can't play quake3 multiplayer over the internet? when i enter the game, it says "No response from the server". What happened?

Try using "All Seeing Eye" or GameSpy, or some other third party server browser. Dont use the in-game server browser.

All right guys, there was no such thing as 2 comps or not having internet or anything like that. I just had to download the latest patch for q3, now it works. Smart, huh? You geniuses !!!!!!!!!

for technobabble i refer you to q3a discussion or t&t. For insane chatter and allround flamefests gd is the right place. To lay back check out qwfix and if you want to hide go to r&r or mac discussion.

before troubleshooting a game, make sure you have the latest version first.
we expect nothing less and kinda expect you to think that up for yourself
