Interesting. More like a business type thing. I wanna see someone do an extensive study on reaction time and eye-movement patterns of a hardcore FPS gamer vs. a normal dude.

Doom 3... at number 2? Above Half-Life 2? I wonder if they took Steam sales into account...

Remember that HL2 wasn't out until, what was it? October? Doom3 had a couple of months head start.
I bet both WoW and HL2 has outsold Doom3 by far by now.

No because electronic distribution doesn't count as units.

i think it does. i find it hard to believe all store-sold copies of halflife2 outsold the sims

I don't. Valve hadnt distributed anything through steam before and i doubt many had enough confidence to only buy it through steam. I mean I bought mine from the store.
