*walks into the trap*
I seem to remember a 4d being a reference to D&D Games, 4d, four dice. Witch is like the number of dice used to roll an attack. Or some thing like that. I never played D&D so how should I know.
There was a clan in Shadowbane; witch went by the name. They had members in the pre beta. They took the game quiet seriously, and Organized early on. They dominated by power leveling as quickly as posable, and then crushing any town witch was weaker then their own.
They leveled up so quickly in the first days of the release. No one could keep up, unless they had chosen to play 24/7. With a hole clan of people playing 24/7. All trying to level up as quickly as posable. And all started on the first day, with just the right combination of classes to compliment each other, to level up as quickly as posable of corse.
Sense no one could keep up. They crushed every one and dominated the hole server/relm/whatever for quite some time. People ether used their towns, payed protection fees / slave army, or had no town at all. Kind of a virtual rome / mob.
They even had their own team speak server. Every one that made up the core group was required to be on the server at all times. I think there were 40 or 80 player who made up the core of 4d.
god I hated that game. I'm glad I didn't waist too much time on it.
