$7 a pound? I pay 25 for Earl Grey... Of course a pound of tea lasts a lot longer than a pound of coffee beans from what I can tell.

Note: These coffees are slightly stronger than coffee purchases in the USA. You may break a sweat during your firs few pots.

Tchibo Rich Roast Mocha Ultra fine ground
Slight mocha aftertaste a smooth non bitter coffee that you can double the blend and still not have it taste like crap.

Tchibo Exclusive Ultra fine ground
This is the coffee that got me hooked on Tchibo, great smooth taste

Jacobs Coffee Whole bean and ground

Jacobs Kroenung
Slightly more expensive, but worth the cost, a very tasty coffee.
hmm... never had any of those german coffees...
how do they compare to something like Jamacan Blue Mountain? (so far my favorite)

I got a bag of Jamaican Blue Mountain (burlap Sack) a few months ago from friends who visited there, not sure if it's what you are talking about, but although it was good I personally prefer my Tchibo

I have had Tchibo before, friends brought it from Germany, and I believe it can be bought at an Air Force Commisary, but I can't remember. It was pretty good.

What I drink is Community Coffee.

I especially love the New Orleans Blend with Chickory.

LOL @ KoS. Community Coffee is utter crap. It tastes like rhino shit steeped in month-old possum spunk.

I saw that one coming. I love how you think that since you don't like something that it must be utter crap. Most people I know tend to like it, unless they don't like strong coffee. It is a very strong and robust coffee and that is something I like. I just don't see why you have to be an ass about something you don't personally like.

I'm not being an ass. If I was, I would have mentioned the fact that only a tasteless hillbilly prole with the IQ of meat would drink such a vile, redneck excuse for gourmet coffee.
Instead I simply commented on the horribly shitty taste of said coffee.

yeah, thats the stuff... my brother got me some when he stopped in jamaica on a cruise.

maybe i'll have to give the tchibo a taste...
problem is its still a bit too expensive for an "every day" coffee.
(considering me and the missus go through ~2 pots a day)
