yer kiddin , right ?
Whats with that comment, Is it not what you were expecting ?
I dont have q4 atm, and seeing my old q3 budday make this statement, I wonder if I should even spend the $$$.
yea sometimes i got to give my haed a shake, it just seems harsh to me right now.

i going to keep trying q4 and try and have an open mind with it.
that's when you know a game failed, just by triyng to stay open minded due to it's predesesor's success, IMO not a good reason

this is what I figured - great shame

there just seem to be too many problems with it I guess - including ambiguous model skins in team games, lack of team damage noise, shit hit indictator noise, shit 3d sound implementation (like how the fuck can anyone figure where people are in quake 4 from the sound????) and a small number of all pretty poor maps ...

i think this is going the same way as doom3 mp - i.e. no mods of any worth or weight will appear as the player base will make it pointless and the mod teams will give up - i reckon anyhoo

i figure until i can afford to upgrade the 9800 its pointless to tease myself.
This game runs fine on an 9800, really.
I've got a 9800 Pro 128mb myself. No issues there.

Really I think if people would stick with it a bit and give it a fair shot without comparing it to Q3 in its highly, comparatively, polished state then people could start to enjoy it more. The movement is good you can get some good speed up and if you mix some rjs into the ramp jumps you can get a few nice short cuts. The weapons/weapon switching is different but not terrible, the SG feels way better in relation to everything else then it did in baseq3 I think and the Nail Gun / Hyperblaster are not the same weapon at all as some have claimed.

I dont know I am having fun and since its the first friday night that I will have had it tonight I will probably play it for a very long time this weekend.

Won't touch it until it's fixed/modded up to an acceptable level. Just having way too much fun with Q3 CPMA to be bothered otherwise.
