What;s the film where...

Post by phantasmagoria »

two girls become really good friends and make their own fantasy world and language and start acting it out, then one friend has to leave and both their real world and their fantasy starts falling apart, ending with them going rather funny in the head and doing something rather psychotic.

It's based on a true story and I think it's named after what they called their fantasy world.

the film you're thinking of is 'heavenly creatures', a peter jackson movie before LotR about a true story of a couple of girls in new zealand

excellent movie :icon14:

You just saved me a night of lying awake trying to remeber the name of it, thanks :). I had no idea it was directed by Peter Jackson, i thought all he had done before lotr was braindead.

I think there's a bit of kissing in it, and they sleep in the same bed, but it's not that kind of film :p

it's fucking excellent, see it at the next available opportunity.

He did some other stuff, too. The Frighteners is the only thing that comes to mind at the moment.

it was zemeckis who translated it onto the big screen
