Not all of society is fucked up and if you think certain things in life are immoral because a church tells you they are then that’s your problem. Religion is far more fucked up then any society, trying to suppress natural rights, ignoring scientific evidence and preaching ideas based on a book full of myths written and revised numerous number of times by various kings, translators and various other figures. Now that’s fucked up.

Furthermore it sounds like your unsure about your own justification, you feel like shit because people are around you are having fun, getting high and getting laid. It’s not necessarily bad and having such experiences once in a while is not wrong. So it sounds like you need to sort out your own problems before you come out and start preaching.

Then again, guess it keeps me more on the moral side, and a stronger faith person. Helps me steer away from all the temptations facing other teens/tweens with parties, premarital sex, drugs, and alcohol - so it's probably for the better.

In a matter of fact, I think the reason why society is going downhill is because more women are working nowadays and while the parents are away, well, you know what most teenagers/tweenagers want to do. My neighbors are a classic example, without mentioning any names.

The strong employement in America has it's downsides, as parents are not with their kids as much.

f00dl3, no one has ever learned anything from doing everything the right way.

Think about that one for a while.

If you enjoy living with your parents in a strict christian way, then do so. However, don't look down at those in their 20s who go out, have sex, drink, do drugs and experience a whole lot of other things you might consider to be sins. They actually know what they're talking about. They know what it's like. You have no clue. You only assume that premarital sex is bad because your mother told you so. It's not your own judgement made out of experience. It's an opinion forced down upon you, which you accept simply because you don't know any better.... the lack of experience at, well, life.

The world ain't always pretty. Closing your eyes from the things you assume to be bad doesn't make them go away. In fact, many things you consider to be bad might actually be quite enjoyable and good for your personal views of the world and society in general.
