Tried Doom3 demo

Post by plained »

i never play single player games but i figured i'd owe it to myself to give this one a try.

this demo was reaaly fun tho from what i played.

my comp isnt mega deluxe, but it looked really good.

the close up skin on those guys is ace .

i only got to that missing prof guy and shot a few zombies.

im going to buy it even tho it will take maybe a year or more for me to complete.

I hope you really liked the demo, because you won't be doing anything new in the full game.

Quake 4 is nothing like Doom 3.

So I finally got ahold of a computer & Doom 3, been waiting forever... yea, the gameplay is rather repetitive, and I feel like the game feels almost too much like Half-Life 2 (can never copy something and make it quite as good), but I'm still enjoying it.

I just tell myself that it's not the original Doom just updated.... they definitely went for a new look/experience with this one.

*shrug*

I would sadly agree, I still very much enjoyed d3, and looks like q4 takes care of alot of problems I had with d3...but hl2 had more of a "fun" factor than anything else I've played so far...

D3 was designed for the horror factor

half life 2 for action.... 2 diff games imo

now compare q4 to hl2

hmm, you know I guess I never paid attention to the release dates *shrug* I guess I meant the original HL. You know what I mean though.

It's still a great visual game, even at medium visual quality :)

HL2 is only $30, definitely my next purchase.

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.
