Flying games, more action than sim...

Post by Psyche911 »

Any suggestions?

I've never played them really, but just got a joystick for BF2 since I've been having so much fun in jets & attack choppers. I'd want a game that's more action than completely accurate. Dogfights and the like.

Got the Saitek Cyborg EVO. Fucking awesome. The hardware and drivers are great (no shit running in the task bar, you just install and never see the drivers if you don't want to. BF2 recognized the joystick axes, throttle, and I think all the buttons, about 13).

Give the original Battlefield plus Desert Combat a try. The choppers in that take a lot of time to master. A lot of fun in multi.

Aside from that, MS Combat Flight sim...

IL2 stands for what?

Does MS flight sim have combat? I always thought it to be more simulation than anything...

FYI, IL2 is a flight simulator, not at all arcade-ish. Sounds like Lock-On: Modern Air Combat is what you want.
