Ahhhhh Damn spiders everywhere

After 10 days of intense rain, the first sunny day and out basement which has been dry as a bone is flooded. Don't know how, or why we are way up on top of a hill and 4/3 of the basement is above ground.

My landlord woke me up at 8 this morning because of the water it was only about 4" deep and only on my half of the basement. I went to my dad's and grabbed his sump pump and shopvac and went to work.

Spiders all over this huge basement, I have spider bites all over me and I am itching like a motherfucker. Seems since all their homes have been destroyed they are taking their anger out on me WTF.

And WTF was a Prying Mantis doing down there?

Water is still seeping up through the sump pump well... the one with the dead sump pump in it LOL. but as long as I keep on top of the pumping we should be ok in a day or so. The shopvac and fans got 90% of the water up the floor is almost completely dry already

Sadly I lost one cardboard box full of rubber balls and one Ortophone nightclub record stylus with 4 replacement needles The rest of my crap was in rubbermaid Bins, those fucking things PWN

Already dry not much to see anymore only a sump hole that keeps filling up with water. Once an hour i run down and flip it on.
