AVI Movies - Merging, and correcting wierd audio.

Post by glossy »

Two related questions here:

1: Could anyone offer any programs that simply make two .avi files (encoded in the same way, i.e. two discs) and merge them into one?

2: In a similar vein, does anyone have any suggestions how to fix movies whose audio "drifts" (time-wise) as the movie goes on? I had a movie ripped for me: the audio starts fine, but as the movie goes on it becomes more and more out of sync.

Thanks for any suggestions :)

use virtual dub to scan for errors in the video stream.... then use virtual dub to manually adjust audio synch

if the audio 'drifts' out of synch, virtual dub could be tricky
