I fucking hate add ons with a passion.
They kill any decent game because the player base gets cut in half. The half that spends money for more of the same, and the half that stays with what they like.

Fuck that shit. Make it free, or make it a new game.

Have you read anything about this expansion?
Grappling hooks, ziplines, ATV's, jetski, special forces from 5 different countries, european battlefields, new weapons, new gametypes, nightvision goggles, night maps etc..

We get almost a new game.. with this expansion its more based around night time sneak missions and more about infantry fights on smaller maps.
So the people that wanna play sneaky night time missions with grappling hooks and silenced weapons can do that, the people that wanna play bigger maps with fullscale war scenarios can play BF2 original... two different games really.

It couldent have anything to do on what system the game was played on when they took the pics...

My point wasn't if it's promising or not.
Each expansion reduces the core player base. Fact. That's why I hate them.

If this is such a different game, sell it as one. It's gonna cost nearly what a new game does anyway.

I don't really see how adding a bunch of gimmicks is going to make the gameplay any better. It's the same as with the BF1942 expansions - the core game is still a much better game. They should just put all that effort into releasing more maps for vanilla BF2 instead, I'm getting pretty sick and tired of the existing ones.

I won't support this big publisher $30 expansion business model by buying this.
