aye, it's not bad. not on par with the series at all though. most of the gags are dumbed down (think 'carry on' movies) so they lose a lot of their charm. there's still plenty about it that makes it worth seeing, but mostly it's a mish-mash of in-jokes for the fans and smut for the masses.
papa lazarou doesn't get enough screen time at all. he doesn't fix anyone's toilet, doesn't sell any pegs or anything.
back on topic, his was definitely the best episode of the last series. fucking brilliant character, creepier than incest.
