I remember this being talked about in another thread, but I didn't want to bump it and start all the arguments back up.
Anyway, the site's owner was arrested on 300 misdemeanor obscenity charges.

I've always thought it was strange that the DoD were trying so hard to prevent the Abu Ghraib pictures from being released, but weren't able to prevent the soldiers themselves from posting all those gruesome pics.
They also posted quite a few pics on the site of female soldiers doing soft- and hardcore porn - even in uniform.

Far as I know it's still up. It seems like they would take it down though, if the content was alleged to be criminal.
