In Quebec, we barely celebrate it but I know that in the USA it is more than Christmas.
Just wondering how is it in your country?
PS.; Precise the country you live in please.
God Bless you all and hug your close ones. Kiss

Ours is earlier because "harvest" occurs earlier up north, although we don't mind eating cold turkey.

Happy Thanksgiving pete - Ours is about a month or so away, but it's a prettty cool holiday because it doesn't have all the gift giving and guilt tripping stuff ( you're not going to be here for Christmas?) of Christmas, you just get together with family and friends and eat. All in all, a great holiday. We have the turkey, mashed potatoes, wild rice, candied yams, creamed onions, punkin pie, all the traditional stuff. Oh, we throw a vegetable dish in once in a while, but it's generally a starch extravaganza.
