Well, there are loads of different types of them, yeah. Google saves some, but my forums save others, and these forums topics save other too.

How do I go about clearing them all, and starting afresh?

Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Saved Form Information

On Firefox.

Also to blanket wipe stuff, get a program called 'CCleaner'.

I try not to download programs that sound like they were made by Albert Arkwright ;)

Never have those. I always disable them on installing xp and forget how I do it untill the next install.
