Bah! It's still no where nearly as good as the Hans Stuck clip :icon3:

This GT2's got quite a lot more HP than Stuck's M3 GTR, but it's still slower around the 'Ring :smirk:

The Ruf Yellow Bird vid is better, IMO. More camera angles, and the driver is absolutely hammering on the car.

This is the best Nordschleife clip I've seen :icon14: Much better than the Yellowbird clips IMHO :p

It's a lap by Hans Stuck in a BMW M3 GTR from 2004 I believe. The configuration he drove includes part of the GP track.

The two links above are exactly the same (despite the different file names), so just pick whichever one works best for you. The file size is 53.4 MB.

Enjoy :)
soz Donneh, but Zewulf's Stuck/M3 vid is absolutely SICK.

I don't think they keep official times, because they run quite a few different variations, and the track has been reprofiled at various places through the years.

However, I think the general consensus on the ultimate Nordschleife lap is around 6:11 set by Stefan Bellof in a Porsche 956 in 1983, and that was only a practice run.

I have a Nordschleife clip of Derek Bell in the Porsche 956 from 1983 in which Bellof passed him in setting that 6:11 lap, but in that clip Derek commented that was Jacky Ickx
