This is the best Nordschleife clip I've seen :icon14: Much better than the Yellowbird clips IMHO
It's a lap by Hans Stuck in a BMW M3 GTR from 2004 I believe. The configuration he drove includes part of the GP track.
The two links above are exactly the same (despite the different file names), so just pick whichever one works best for you. The file size is 53.4 MB.
Enjoy

JESUS TITTY-FUCKING CHRIST! That man is an absolute maestro behind the wheel. I'm fucking stunned at that performance. I'd let him drive me anywhere, however fast he wanted to go, and I'd have an ear-to-ear grin the whole time.zewulf wrote:http://www.dgtalpimp.com/m3_gtr_nurburgring.wmv

Hehehe...that M3 sounds really wicked with a sub :icon32: If you disregard the GP track section, that was a sub-7-minute run on the Nordschleife. I think I'd probably crap in my pants if I were a passenger
! I guess my favorite part of the clip is when he takes (I think) the Klostertal corner, which is at around the 5:05 mark in the video. He downshifts from 5th into 4th in a blink of an eye and gets back on the power as quickly as you dare. This corner reminds me of the old 130R corner at Suzuka :icon30:
Hans Stuck is a very good all-around racer and a very nice guy. He is an ex-F1 driver (in the '70's) but unfortunately didn't have much success in F1. He's far more successful in touring cars though. His team won the 24-hour Nurburgring race in that M3 last year, but this year they came in 2nd, behind another BMW team.

Btw, this is also a cool clip: http://obsyjuju.free.fr/F1/videos/Tour% ... 56%201.avi
It's one lap of Le Mans with Derek Bell in the Porsche 956 from 1983. The speed he reached on the Mulsanne straight is just nuts :icon28:
