Yeah so I go to the doctors office....

Post by [FTF]Pyro »

I have to, I dont want to, I dont feel ill or anything but as part of getting a licence in PA (pennsylvania) you have to get a Doctor to give you a medical and a urinalysis. Well, because I don't have any insurance it costs me 250-ish dollars for some bitch to ask me some questions that are already written on the form the DMV gave (I could have just ticked the boxes myself) but to top it off the bitch turns round right at the end, you know what she says......

Well first off may I say that the medical went fine. Blood pressure was around normal levels if not better than normal, you have 20/20 vision with no hearing difficulties. However, we did find a higher than usual blood cell count in your urine which may be attributed to one of the the following, Kidney stone, liver disease, klidney disease or cancer......

I have to go back in 30 days to have another urinalysis done. So, I got home, obviously in a slight state of shock, didnt really feel like talking about it with the family, I figured whats the point in worrying them over something that might be nothing (see kidney stone) and my dad turns round to me and says, "You need to drive me to the hospital next week. I gotta go have a cat scan. Doctors told me they found a higher than usual blood cell count in my urine last month and it could be cancer."

Or you could have just sat down particularly hard or had a wank. I wouldn't sweat it too much unless you're a smoker or rubber worker. Or an iv drug user, or an alcoholic.

I've got an appointment booked today at 3:00 because something in my brain keeps 'popping' and causing me to spaz out in various ways.

Fun times.

It's happened about 5 times today. One time it made me feel instantly sick. Another I momentarily forgot what I was doing, and another caused my vision to blur.

Quality!

Went. She didn't know what was causing it, but said that if I had a 'serious' turn on it, like blacking out/falling down, to check into casualty.

She also said my chronic memory loss at the moment was.... I forget.

No but really, she said it's brought on by high stress. Which is odd.

None of those are very specific symptoms, actually. I tend to get any and all of them during the average shift.

I know. But the suddenness and severity of it was what made me go to the docs.

I get headaches all the time, have never suffered from migranes, and one of my 2 major assets is my brain, so I didn't want to take a risk. Having any one of those things happen would be fine, but all 3 things, casued by the same event (this 'popping' sensation in the back of my head followed by notable localised pain) is odd.
