My conscience wants vegetarianism to win over the world. And my subconscious is yearning for a piece of juicy meat. But what do I want?

I've been a vegetarian for about 16 years and I eat meat fairly regulally.

wtf does "The writer" have to do with Trazkovsky thingie or vegetarianism.

looked him up on imdb couldn't find anything called "the writer"

It's a quote from Stalker. 'The Writer' is the character who says it.
