Been playing Fatal Frame 2 on xbox the last few days, and it is the most disturbing game (apart from Fatal Frame 1/Project Zero, which is in the same league) I've ever seen. Those Japanese really love their child sacrifices...

Same here. It didn't help that I was sat in a room with Fury and his brother, who had both played the game and knew the dogs were coming, and yelled out to startle me at just the right time. Practically hit the ceiling, the fuckers. :icon26:
Silent Hill 2, Thief 3, AvP all scared the crap out of me at points; and yeah, the "lights off" scene in Unreal was awesome. Silent Hill's a bit wierd though, they do the psychological horror stuff well and then when you finally meet the monsters, they generally look like a condom full of shit.
I'm still pissed off that there's a bug in my copy of Silent Hill 4 which crashes it early on in the game

dont forget the chilling feeling of minesweeper when with one more click you can clear teh board, but there are three mines left of the four available spaces
