Doom the movie

this is Dexter Fletcher .... Pinky in doom. he used to present a show called Gamesmaster in season three which turned to shit as soon as he took over from dominic diamond. coincidence?

The first half of Series Three was bearable but the lack of the original GM Presenter/Director/Producer obviously showed. The script Dexter was given was in all fairness terrible and I challenge anyone to make a string vest and boilersuit fashionable - it almost certainly wasn't Dexter's idea. The Team Championships were pretty awful and was like a rushed version of GamesWorld that had to fit all of GM's regular features and reviews as well. If the rest of the series had been the same as the first, it might not have been so bad, but the cramped conditions of the Dungeon made for quite a clostrophopic show and coupled with Dexter's in-yer-face attitude made it not as enjoyable to watch.

The Rock (loosely refered to as an entertainer)
Dwayne Douglas Johnson is an actor and former professional wrestler known as The Rock.

Dwayne Douglas Johnson (born May 2, 1972 in Hayward, California), also known by his stage name The Rock, is an American actor and former professional wrestler. He has starred in such motion pictures as Be Cool, The Mummy Returns, The Rundown The Scorpion King, Walking Tall, and others.

Johnson first gained mainstream fame as a standout in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Before becoming The Rock, he was known as Rocky Maivia, an homage to his father, Rocky Johnson, and his maternal grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia. Since his entry into acting, Johnson continues to be known simply as The Rock.

is it just me or is this movie doomed

Depends what you want from it I suppose.

I'll be chuffed enuf if it comes out as a moderately entertaining action/monster flick.
