Looks a like an expensive comparison too (3200 USD vs 1500). I was thinking about getting a digital rebel some time early next year, though

Rebel XT, or whatever you yanks call it. By next year you'll be able to get the 20D for around the same price.

The 20D is already $1300 USD. The 5D isn't even available yet, and the price is $3300 USD.
