A while ago someone here posted something about Algorithms that can mimic emotions. That it was possible to create a program that has a sort of emotion. Anyone have any information on this?
Im trying to figure out how the brain works and how i can 'prove' that the brain works in a mechanical way.
If anyone has any valid information on this subject, please add

you talking about those moving robots that would circle a target aggressively or curiously or shyly depending on some very simple rules?

you want to prove it works in a certain way when you don't know the basics behind its function yet?
you are reasoning inductively.

the Alice used to attempt to emulate emotion (based on an old Eliza branch), but the fact regular conversations with Alice never held means it didn't come much use.

im talking about AI, not robots in particular. the subject is Conciousness in machines and im trying to form some basic arguments.
well anyway, ne1 have some documentations on AI based emotions or something similar then?

That would mean assuming that you would be able to understand them, and quite frankly, I'm just not ready to make that sort of commitment.
