Car insurance question

Post by bitWISE »

Ok, so you know how when you finance a car you have to provide your bank with proof that you have comp/coll coverage?

What if you were looking to change insurance companies and you just happened to 'forget' to get full coverage again? How the hell would they find out?

They are in contact with your insurance company.

Some changes were made to my policy shortly after I leased the 350Z. I made a error in my uninsured driver coverages. Within a few days my lease company contacted me via mail and told me I had 14 days to adjust my policy to their terms.

Lease company was Wells Fargo. Not sure about the others, but I'm sure they keep on top of these things, insurance scamming is pretty popular since it costs so god damn much...

Your insurance company would probably tell the financer, if they knew you still owed on the car. The insurance company wants the money too.

Fuck.

I moved from a small city to a suburb of Columbus and my insurance went up $90 a month. It basically negated my gas savings...
