Post by o'dium »

Whose getting it?

I'll be getting it, but first I need to look in every shop in town to see if there is a special edition, and even if there isn't, i need to remember the covers because for some fucked up reason store X has a limited edition cover with free plush 90% of the time :icon33:

i agree. the turnaround is much too fast now. don't release the movie until all editions are available.

They release the extra editions later to generate more revenue. That they're released later is the whole point, from a marketing POV.

It's not a matter of taking longer to make. The Special Edition might very well be already pressed and waiting.

I picked up the single disk edition just now but i'll get the uber edition when it's released. I got some really nice promotional material from the shop though.

Does anyone know any other sites with good info on the upcoming dvd? I cant seem to find anything in-depth.
Apparently the forum resident fountain of tears Nightshade resigned from his prestigious role as rants and raves moderator because he wouldn't have time to moderate or post anymore due to devoting himself to his 'old man at university' studies.

As much as he tried, yet again he wasn't able to stay away. Sorry that didn't work out for you Nightshade. :olo:

They never call cut, so everyone is concentrating, working, experimenting and being creative for 17 minutes straight. Very interesting to watch, and hear everyone brainstorming and improvising. Clive, Nicotero, Rodriguez, Tarantino, and Del Toro, Stevie J, all doing their thing at one point or another.

Aye, I ended up buying the basic one and will get that one later too.

The basic one really does shaft you though... Cheap packaging (plasic is very thin, you know, like a demo box) with a poor cover and single dvd with 1 special feature, and not even a bit of paper inside :(

But oh well, i knew the SE would be out later anyway :P
