Most people complaining about Java performance problems with Azureus were using the MS built in implementation of Java or not the latest version.
Well, whenever I install Java, after a couple of weeks I get virus and trojan hits from various virus scanners that are located somewhere in a java folder or application. I never get viruses anywhere else though.

Anyone know why?

k, so I'm just using the simple BitTorrent client, and I have a Belkin router. I haven't really played around with the configuration.

It seems I can't connect to any seeders, and I'm assuming it's this "forwarding" issue with the listening ports, etc.

Know how I go about looking for this? Router newbie here. Everything else (internet) works so it can't be too difficult.

get azureus or abc instead (they're easier on the eye and a bit more user-friendly) and read the supporting docs.
