When someone takes something or someone that you care about, when the next war comes, believe everything you say in that statement.

Goings good eh? behind the desk, sitting in your apartment, drinking your soda, filling your car up with fuel and driving to your cushy job getting paid...... good consumer.

How little you know, and you know what, I'm glad. Cause if it werent for families like mine who know and have seen the horror of war, the families like yours would never be able to sit in their self-righteous chairs thinking about how good they have it.

You took those eh?

No the photos are from independant journalists. Encapsulates the very essence of what people that go to war do to each other.

I hate the fact that people berate soldiers on one hand when we have to live with our conscience knowing that this is what OUR bullets do, this is what OUR job is, this is how we make our money. Being stationed in the middle of nowhere would make you think that by pressing that big red shiny button from miles away is easy. Try living with the knowledge that the very actions you performed to save the comfort and "security" of others is the very same action which condems you and your conscience to a living hell.

I've had great uncles tell me stories of the Israeli war, uncles tell me what its like to look down the barrel of a gun knowing its no longer deer your stalking, cousins leave with smiles and come back blinded mentally and literally. A father that helped develope the US Navy's Nuclear sub launch programs (hardware and software) Friends that are a shell of the man that left.

You understand?

War is something that shouldnt be laughed at, taken lightly and the soldiers that are surving or dieing right now should neither be condemed or thanked.....

No wait. You've said above that you've been over to Iraq.

Is that the case?

The soldier that started this at the very begining has family, he has friends, he has loved ones.

Can you imagine going home, Scarred for life due to a war in which you had no place fighting in. Freeing people thousands of miles away so you can use there resources and oil to help those that you love and the country that you serve.

Knowing everyday that you live is a day closer to your death when you'll have to explain your actions god.

i can agree with that to a certain extent but your still forgetting your arguing this matter in a geoff thread ?

a fucking geoff thread

and im sure hes done far worse things in life than posting a flaming brit (which has been shown on the news and in the papers plenty of times) on a msgboard

the way it was presented i doubt was even supposed to be funny, because we all know geoff loves spending his time making up witty thread titles to grab someones attention

then have someone come in to bitch and moan on how much of a disgrace it is....

LOL, after this shitstorm of calling people out as hypocrites and bad people, you refuse to claim a statement you already made?

Good showing.

So in other words you really don't know or understand any more than the rest of us "consumers" do.

I was having trouble remembering who you were but after reading this thread its come back to me: you're an idiot. Can you please go back to not posting? Thanks.

I didn't think this thread had any potential at all, but it actually turned out pretty good.

He just looks like he's escaping a burning tank that will explode and he's slightly on fire.
