Google Secure Access allows you to establish a more secure connection while using Google WiFi. By using Google Secure Access, your internet traffic will be encrypted, preventing others from viewing the information you transmit.

nah, im closer to the amsterdam, holland area. it might work here though, but i think im just outside the radius

That's a bit vague. I wish google provided a map, so that I could tell if it's anywhere around where I live. :(

Is it a google network or does it somehow use your existing network and enhance the security?

supposedly only works on a google network in SF, but others have reported it working outside of CA and of google's network.

With Gmail and GSA and Google's helping repessive regimes repress their info hungry population I'd say Google is definitely becoming evil.
