If I can be serious for second though -- does anybody else find it weird that British troops were dressed as Arabs in a car full of explosives, shooting at Iraqi police, doing official undercover work? :paranoid:

edit: And the British military physically broke into the jail to get them out before they could be questioned?

Probably trying to weed out any saddam sympathisers that might have found their way into the police force.

I read somewhere they have orders to shoot cops who get in their way since the rebels have infiltrated the police apparatus in so many places.

...however my guess is some sort of Vietnam era Phoenix program is being executed with guys like this doing the dirty work. And yes, that's a total guess, only based upon this incident and the fact that so many corpses have been found lately (all attributed to sectarian rivalries).

At least they do more than fill up the vacuum cleaner once in a while.

And by comparison, how fucking stupid are the yanks? Trying to police the world and when something happens on their own lawn, they cant do fuck all about it because they've sent their forces out. GG
