Garmin iQue

Post by Giraffe }{unter »

I'm looking for a small easily portable GPS system and I'm leaning towards the Garmin iQue. I'm not sure which model I want yet, but it seems the M3 and the M5 are pretty hot and so is the 3600 deluxe.

Anyone here have one of these? do you like it?

I heard they were really good over seas... I was checking them out a while ago and they seemed cool, but for the price it's lacking the speed (200MHz) memory and features of the iQue so they got bumped

I've played with a few and they're very intuitive. Touchscreen, easy navigating, 3d map, no slow down, new calculation if you differ your route, etc. (standalone).

Well get a good PDA and a gps mouse (or a PDA with a build-in gps receiver), you can probably manage that for under 700 dollars (the Tom Tom software can be found).
Plus you'll have a nice gadget to play Sam and Max on.
