Azureus is probably the most bloated of them all, however it's also the best (w/ features wise). It just takes some time getting it configured best to suit your needs.

Thanks for the suggestions...

After checking out a few I went with Arureus because of the features. If I have to use it I might as well go for a good client.

I read old posts and and it seems Foo and dzjepp have been swearing by Azureus for quite a while now. After using it it doesn't consume nearly as much memory as Xnews (1.4gb at times) so it's good for the occasional usage.

As far as I can see once i exit the client it's off and not serving files correct?

I didn't see any reg entries for it to start on it's own either.

I like BitComet better because it doesn't eat your resources to hell.

You want it to autostart with windows? =o

Well, there is a plugin out there that will allow you to select a bunch of items for download and sort it the way you want it (when to start, etc.)

The easier way of doing that would be to allow only 2-3 torrents at once (or as many as your connection can optimally support) and queue a bunch of other items to start after the others are done. You might need to change the seed ratio (lower it a bit) so the finished torrents are completely stopped after a given time frame and new ones in the queue can get full resources.

Or you can completely remove the auto-seeding of finished torrents if that's what you prefer. :p

no no I'm happy it does not start on it's own. Most file sharing apps start up with windows and stay on even after you have closed the GUI. I was stating it appears Azureus does not do that...
