They set the standard higher on graphics and technology with Farcry, and now they are doing it again with their new engine(or improved engine).. check the video.
When he walks through those leaves... wow. :icon28:

For sure it looks nice, but overall I'd say it still doesn't look as nice as MGS4

it'll be delayed a year to downgrade it for average machines though. gotta keep those GF2s happy

when making a new game, make sure you push all hardware to the limits and concentrate solely on graphics

Farcry didn't have an awsome detailed story line with alot of angst and inner demons but it was still a hell of alot of fun.

can't they do anything besides tropical settings? if not they suck...
a defining attribute of a government is that it has a monopoly on the legitimate exercise of violence...

Eeer why chage it? It's the only game in the genre that tackles that enviroment. We don't need to see another game with a Normandy or Iraq setting.

There's a company, an innovative game company called CryTek, that's going to have a game that's going to ship simultaneously with Windows Vista. Now, actually they won't let me show you the game today, but they will let us show you a video showing some of the power of the platform.
