I don't know if it's viable, but there's a plugin for Azureus which will watch RSS feeds for torrents, and automatically download ones that meet certain criteria.

If you find that plugin, you can set the text match to 'Q3 Map Archive', and subscribe to the pirate bay's RSS feeds.

Have it up now and then but azureus is mentioning a connection error for the two while another torrent is simply uploading. Might be my isp though.

It's the tracker. It times out on most requests, which is a pain.

Fortunately it's not disrupting the torrents too much, but I'm going to migrate to another tracker for the rest of the set, I think.

UPDATE

Due to performance problems with the previous host, I have set up a dedicated tracker for The Archive. If you have an existing torrent running on ThePirateBay, simply stop the download and re-download the .torrent file from:

http://82.71.110.84:6969/

When asked where to save the data, point it at the partially-completed files you already have. This will resume where you left off.

Yeah, you just need to pop open all of those .torrent files I put in that folder. Point the download at the folder where the files are already saved, and it'll continue sending it out to other people.

Yeah, that's quite a bit faster.

I'm somewhat of a torrent noob...I went ahead and deleted the Pirate Bay torrent files before downloading the new ones, expecting this to kill the old torrents, but when Azureus started up, the old torrents were still downloading/seeding? I had to check details to see which was which, and stop/delete the old ones via Azureus' interface.

Seems odd. I don't know how the old ones were still running if I deleted the torrent files, unless, upon start-up, Azureus somehow re-downloaded them when it found them missing?

Okay...soooo, that means that once the torrent is initialized, that data (tracker location, etc.) is stored by the torrent app in some other place locally, rather than just within the torrent file then?

Thanks for the link. It was instructive, and I'm not as much of a noob now (but it didn't really address the specific issue that was confusing me).
