TV Tuner Software

Hey everyone,

Excuse me if this is a bit unclear, im posting on behalf of a friend. I dont own a TV tuner card so some of the jargon is double-dutch to me.

Basically, he's looking for any software which is compatible with connexant DVDT card. Does anyone have any reccomendations?

From what I recall, its the software used to scan and access channels. The one he got atm is digital (+ freeview) but he can only access 8 channels or so.

Any assitance would be much appreciated

Wait a tic, are you sure he isent saying DVB-T? Not DVD-T?

And i'm Guessing you mean FREE TO AIR, Not Freeview. and By "Acess" channels.. its to get all channels over FTA correct?

Don't you think there is a reason why he is watching it on the computer? MAby because DVB-T is Basically ONLY for computers?

Standard DVB Recivres are for Tv's, but they dont do certan things.

dScaler. Nothing quite like it. No idea if it supports what he needs though, but it's definitely worth a check.
