my € 0,02: You being tired (as in not enough sleep),or low on sugar (more a sportsdrink/gelpack thingy then a candybar. candy bars are quick in munch, slow in uptake better use something liquid(ish))

edit: seeing star's (sparks) tends to point to be short on liquids

did you experience any muscle twitches later that day? Might be an overstressed CNS.

I was properly nourished and hydrated. during the 45 minute class I consumed 1 liter of water and prior to the class I had a protein bar.

With about 1 minute to go my right eye started seeing flashes, as if a strobe light was flashing off to my right. During cool down this started to go away, and stopped one the lights were turned on, but my vision was a little blurry. I felt fine, not tired, but on my drive home I was off. I couldn't keep the beat on my dashboard drumming, I had trouble getting the key in my door at home, I seemed a little clumsy...

I feel fine today, any ideas what happened?

Do you ever get migraines?

From experience, it sounds to me like your blood sugar was low - I've had it happen to me, and had episodes that are almost exactly like that. Jittery, clumsy hands, spots in my eyes, just generally out of it...
