Yeah, I've played guitar for years and the tuning is the same, so I can pick out a decent melody or bass line. It's the bass nuances that I'm going to ahve to pick up, such as the techniques to make smooth slap-pop transitions and god knows what else that folks can do with these beefy strings. :)
