Yeah too bad it was done using over 100 000 savestates... and using slow motion
nah... it's a snes run... no emu. just some bug abuse.
but the savestate thing is right though.

(the best one segment run is ~45 minutes i think)

Hmm all this talk about speedruns making me want to do this game again, I don't know if I could ever beat my old record, anyone else like speedrunning games?

I've done

-Super Metroid
-Megaman X2
-Zelda: Majoras Mask (3 day challenge)
-Perfect Dark (Used to be wayyy too into that shit, had records for a while, lost 3 months of my life to it hahahahah)
-Super Mario World (9 Mins 40 something seconds)

Speedrunning is fun, but quake 3 speedcapturing will always be my favorite :D

Have you watched the video? None of the things the guy does while he is idling (Waiting for things) is possible without slow motion, he even says he uses it in the authors comments ;)

Yeah a lot of speedruns are 'fake' but they are still cool to watch. SMB is prolly my favorite... that guy raped that damn little game. :)

This is from a psp emulator, I'm not sure if it would work with znes on pc, but maybe. Rename it to whatever that emulater takes. :p

Worked, heres a zsnes zmv, as fraps wont record zsnes. If it isnt in sync with a zsnes you use ill upload the zsnes I use, rename this to the name of your rom + .zmv

http://htpg.ca/bacon/files/sm.zmv

the way I do it here is NOT the proper way, as I said before the real way is with the spring ball upgrade.
