Umm.. wrong.. everyone knew the levees would break, as you posted previously they even had a mister bill safety message regarding a hurricane and levee breaking.. It's been documented for years it was one of the 3 most likely natural disasters that would affect the country.

Honestly though, how dumb do you have to be to live close to the coast 60 feet below sea level, it's just not sound judgement. Whether the levee breaks or a hurricane floods you are toast.

Well, its a bit different in New Orleans.. I live in Florida and we always roll the dice with hurricanes as well, but when you surround yourself with water that is at sea level on all sides and you in the middle + Hurricanes + flooding.. you should leave asap.

I'd also debate whether levees breaking and causing a flood is a natural disaster but I suppose since the starting cause is natural it counts.
